What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website can store on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser, work in a comparable way. In this policy, “cookies” includes both.
Analytics
BitComfy uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. In general, Google’s documentation describes a cookie named _ga as one used to identify users, and cookies named _ga_ followed by a container ID as ones used to maintain session state. That describes Google’s product in general. We have not confirmed exactly how these cookies behave on this site.
Advertising
BitComfy’s pages load Google AdSense advertising code, and some articles contain ad spaces. Where ads appear, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies on your device to show and measure ads and to detect fraud and abuse. We have not confirmed whether ads shown on this site are personalized.
What we observed
The following names come from an earlier check of a first visit to the site in a clean browser. They are observations only. They are not a complete list, and we have not freshly confirmed them.
- Cookies: _ga, _ga_B0GG9WSXV4, __gads, __gpi and __eoi
- Local storage item: google_adsense_settings
We have not independently verified which party sets each of these items or what each one does. Their names are consistent with Google Analytics and Google advertising services, which are the services configured on this site. Other cookies or similar technologies may also be used, including by Google’s advertising partners, and they can change over time.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google provides a page for its ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
BitComfy currently has no cookie banner or cookie settings panel of its own, so the site does not presently ask for your choices before these technologies may be used. The options above are not a substitute for consent where consent is required, and this page does not itself provide or replace any consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the cookies or services used on the site change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
